Does the AC unit make loud clicking sounds when people huff air conditioning fumes?

I heard loud clicking sounds on the side of our house and when I went to investigate, one the teenage neighbor boys was near our ac unit acting strangely. Then I heard it on the other side next to their house about 10 min later. Was the clicking sound a sign that he was huffing our ac freon?
