If there's a god whys he letting bad stuf happen?

like for example my life is full of stress then theres the part where the bible says ity when he supposedly makes people so why would they be gay? and then worst ofall theres the disasters like japan had an earthquake and tsnuami its not that i dont belive in god its just idont get it
