Shots in Army BCT?
I know you receive about six shots in the arm when you go to basic training. What I wanted to know was whether you get a shot in the . Three years ago, this kid came back from high school and said he received a shot in the but my friend that is in the National Guard and is in infantry said that he didn't. I'm confused. An Army Reserve recruiter told me they don't but have they changed since then? or is this something a recruiter tells you to get you to join? I know this is what they did back then but I'm not sure whether they changed it now or are you exempt from it due to medical reasons. I'm still interested in joining the Guard but I was curious. I'm more inclined to hear people who recently went through basic or present recruiters. Thanks.
